River Testing-
Ros trained Julia today.
Louise’s meter not accurate? Do we need to check all the meters?
Need to set up Baseline info eg width of river, landmarks etc.
Need to set up what’s app group for testers.
Gill, Glyn need training? Who else?
Access to app needs to be organised.
Sam Smith Would like copy of final report ( Ros saw him in coop)
Do we need to thanks Anglers club re donation and let them know to contact TRT for info for report findings when data complete?
Sharon and Julia did a paddle board litter pick- lots of baby fish sighted.
People’s emergency film-
Gedling screened in April in Mapperley.
121 people attended. Several groups have put it on as a result including Bonington, Lowdham.
Gedling have projector, soun system and screen we can borrow.
We need to set a date.
Registering screening gives access to film via email ( 10 days before)
Versions with/ without swearing/ subtitles available.
Importance of checking film before, needs laptop to play film, check volume.
Advice re screening and promotion on website.
Facilitation notes on website to support discussion post film.
Gedling has got an adapted facilitation advice sheet we can borrow.
A5 leaflet produced by Gedling
Can adapt for our area.
Has QR codes for questionnaire before and after film
Also QR code for a uk parliamentary petition for it to be debated in Parliament
What’s App advert available.
Consider ticketing ( free) to know if enough capacity (ticket tailor being used) Also then can use emails to send reminders and ?post screening email.
12A screening. Under 16s with parents.
48% attended in Mapperley because of friend/relative. Good to put on leaflet.
Contact email needed for event from our group.
Facilitator- some people want to dominate so small groups useful, person with confidence.
Finish with examples of actions they can do.
Invite councillors for this ward, because this is a film FOR THEIR CONSTITUENTS ( ie not them!)

Coop planters- can bjcag folk regularly check and water if they are dry?
Discussed putting a subterranean pot in to water planters and also mulching.
No mow may.
Julia to email list of species and photos to Parish council.
Discussed different approach next year- ? Leave 10% of your lawn?
Discuss next March before Ros talks to David.
